Deanna Colosimo is a creator from Mississauga, Canada. Her surrealist oil paintings position objects and subjects out of context as a way to perceive them in an unfamiliar and therefore investigative way. They are often dark and whimsical.

She studied illustration at OCAD University after completing her degree at McMaster University for Theatre & Film with a minor in philosophy (admittedly her favourite subject).

Dee has a zeal for learning, logic puzzles, piano, movies and family. These, like all of her experiences and encounters, inform her art.
